Florist jobs in George Town, Penang花艺师职位招聘 · 槟城乔治市
Anyone can sell flowers. We’re training people to build them.
Three open roles at SweetLife & Co. No florist experience needed for the first one — just hands you’re willing to get wet, cold and covered in leaves.
Who we are
A florist worth
growing old in值得做一辈子的花艺事业
SweetLife & Co. is a flower studio in George Town, Penang. We do daily bouquets and same-day delivery, event and wedding installations, and floral workshops with cafés and local brands around the island. Every arrangement leaving our door was made by hand, by someone whose name we know.
Floristry in Malaysia is still treated like a shop job. We think that’s the reason good people leave it after two years. So we’re building the opposite: a studio where the craft is taught properly, where you’re trusted with real work early, and where “senior florist” is a title you earn rather than inherit by being the last one standing.
We’re a small team and we stay hands-on. Nobody here delegates a skill they haven’t done themselves — including the founders. That’s not a slogan, it’s how we learned the business the hard way.
The path
We measure a career
the way we measure a stem职涯的成长,如同花茎的生长
Three roles, one ladder. Each step is defined by what you can be trusted to do alone — not by how long you’ve been here.
What you get
Every stem leaves here with
a care card. So does every hire.我们如何照顾你
Care instructions — SweetLife & Co. team
Paid training, from week one
Conditioning, colour theory, mechanics, wiring, wrapping, installation. Taught on real orders, not on offcuts.
Your own tools, on us
Shears, floral knife and apron issued on day one, replaced when they wear out. Yours to keep, wherever your career goes.
Reviewed twice a year
A written skills review every six months with a clear list of what moves you up a step. No guessing, no favourites.
One fixed rest day, protected
Your rest day is the same day every week, so you can plan a life around it. Peaks are planned months ahead, not sprung on you.
EPF, SOCSO, EIS & annual leave
Full statutory contributions from day one, plus medical leave and annual leave above the statutory minimum.
Staff price on everything we sell
For your family, your festivals, your own big day. Flowers, workshops and event work at cost-plus, not retail.
